The Surgical Technologist manages instruments, supplies, and equipment while maintaining a sterile field during orthopedic surgical procedures. They anticipate the surgeon's needs and ensure high-quality patient care through consistent application of aseptic techniques.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Surgical Technician Program and hold or obtain a BLS certification within 90 days. One or more years of surgical experience is preferred.

The Surgical Technologist, handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. He/she understands the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon. He/she has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field.
Status Full-Time Shift Days FTE / Hours 1.0 / 40 Schedule Four (4) 10-Hour Variable shifts Mon - Fri. between the hours of 6:30am - 7:00pm
Must be a graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician Program or previous on the job training in surgical technology required.
1+ year of surgical experience preferred.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
This position is classified as Medium Work in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles, requiring the exertion of 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
Must be able to pass background check. We also conduct pre-employment physical and drug testing. Any job offer will be contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment physical with a drug screen, background check and obtaining active licensures per job requirements.
