• Charles Hospital's Chemical Dependency Rehabilitation program.
• The program is for adults age 18 and over, is voluntary, and is designed to promote recovery.
• Our program utilizes various approaches to achieve recovery goals including cognitive restructuring, relapse prevention training, effect regulation, wellness concepts and 12-step principles.
• Depending on the individual treatment plans include issues such as biomedical conditions, emotional and behavioral health syndromes, co-existing psychiatric disorders, and family, work and community concerns.
• The ultimate goal of treatment is to minimize the possibility of relapse and maximize each patient's ability to live without the use of addicting drugs or alcohol.

Job Details

Our Chemical Dependency (Alcohol/Drug Rehab) RNs

Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage overall care for patients in rehabilitation and recovery Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education.

Qualifications

Passion for Chemical Dependency/Addictions Nursing 1+ Years working RN experience strongly preferred Previous RN experience working with psychiatric, addictions, or med-surg patient populations preferred Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration Certification: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required

Salary Range

Usd $54.97 - Usd $64.20 /Hr.
