The RN is responsible for assessing, monitoring, and managing the care of post-surgical and medical-surgical patients. They collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a New York RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications. A BSN degree is mentioned, and while 1+ years of acute care experience is preferred, new graduates are welcome.

Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and overall management of care for the post-surgical and Medical-Surgical patient populations Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, Registered Nurses (RNs), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support, and education.
Passion for Medical-Surgical Nursing and caring for a diverse patient population 1+ Years of acute care nursing (RN) experience preferred New graduate RNs are welcome and will be considered! Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration required Certification: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
