Perform pre-analytical specimen receipt, processing, and identification verification while supporting multiple laboratory departments. Ensure correct patient identification and handle infectious materials in compliance with regulatory standards.
A high school diploma is required, with college science courses or extensive clinical laboratory experience desired. Proficiency in computer navigation and familiarity with medical terminology are preferred.
