The Medical Assistant provides superior patient care by performing administrative and clinical tasks within a care team. Responsibilities include managing medical records, taking vital signs, sterilizing instruments, and handling insurance authorizations.
A high school diploma or GED and basic EMR/Microsoft Office knowledge are required, with BLS certification needed within 14 days of hire. An associate's degree, medical assistant certification (CMA/RMA), or three years of experience is preferred.
