• We are currently seeking a laboratory-based Research Scientist with experience in oncology to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary team focused on developing gene editing tools for therapeutic applications.
• The successful candidate will conduct investigative studies in the preclinical development and evaluation of therapeutic candidates.
• This role involves performing laboratory-based investigations into novel therapeutics for the treatment of solid tumors.
• The position is critical in supporting Oncology projects throughout the drug discovery process.
• You will leverage your expertise to establish assay systems and deliver impactful datasets for pipeline programs.
• This includes designing, conducting, and analyzing both in vitro and in vivo experiments to assess the function of candidate drugs and to dissect the mechanisms of action of novel therapeutics.
• Strong project management skills will be essential for role.

Qualifications

Master’s degree with 4-5 years’ experience in molecular biology, biotechnology, cell biology, or a closely related field. PhD with 0-4 years’ experience preferred. At least two first-author publications in reputable journals are required. Experience with CRISPR research is a plus, but familiarity with molecular biology and cell techniques is essential. This position involves direct experimentation and bench work centered on mechanisms of gene editing in oncology. Annual Compensation Range $73,611.20 - $117,790.40 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
