Lead psychiatric assessments and coordinate safe admissions, transfers, and referrals for patients in emergency situations. Serve as a community liaison responding to law enforcement, families, and friends during psychiatric crises.
Requires a professional license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or RN) and a relevant degree in social work, psychology, nursing, or a related field. RN candidates must have at least 2 years of behavioral health experience.
We are looking for a Psychiatric Liaison to join our dynamic team! In your role, you will have the opportunity to lead assessments and coordinate the safe admission, transfer, referral and more with our patient population. Using your expertise, you will serve as a liaison to the community and respond to law enforcement, friends, families, and others in order to serve patients who are experiencing a psychiatric emergency. As the only Level I Trauma Center between Los Angeles and Sacramento, you will have the opportunity to grow in your specialty alongside a supportive leadership team.
