Prepare patients of all ages for nuclear medicine diagnostic testing and manage the preparation of radiopharmaceuticals. Operate imaging equipment and maintain accurate records of procedures performed.
Must possess a NJ State license in nuclear medicine and BLS certification approved by the American Heart Association. Requires working knowledge of scintillation cameras and strong interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and medical staff.
Nuclear Medicine Technologist Per Diem Nuclear Medicine The Nuclear Medicine Technologist Per Diem will: Prepare patient for nuclear medicine diagnostic testing, as appropriate to the ages of the patients growth and development through the life cycle factors (Neonates, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics) Prepare radiopharmaceuticals and maintains records, as appropriate to the ages of the patients growth and development through the life cycle factors (Neonates, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics) Prepare and operate imaging equipment, as appropriate to the ages of the patients growth and development through the life cycle factors
Possesses NJ State license in nuclear medicine. Possesses a working knowledge of scintillation cameras and related computers. Must possess interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with other departments within the Hospital, attending physicians and other hospitals. Must possess interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with extremely ill and/or irritable patients. BLS Certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association.
55.00 - 55.00 USD We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials. The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
