Collect, analyze, and integrate patient information to determine testing parameters in coordination with physicians. Perform polysomnographic procedures and record scoring according to laboratory protocols.
Requires BRPT certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist and BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Must have completed a one-year polysomnography program or have six months of documented experience as a technician.
Polysomnographic Technologist Per Diem Nights Ctr for Sleep-Breathg Disordrs The Polysomnographic Technologist Per Diem Nights will: Collect, analyze and integrate patient information in order to identify and meet the patient-specific needs and to determine final testing parameters/procedures in conjunction with the ordering physician or clinical director and laboratory protocols. Professional Certification by Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) as Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or equivalent. BLS Certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association. Successful completion of a one-year polysomnography program, associated with a State licensed and/or nationally accredited educational facility; or minimum of six-months experience as Polysomnographic Technician with documented proficiencies. Demonstrate effective written and spoken communication skills. Demonstrate ability to follow direction.
37.00 - 37.00 USD We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials. The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
