Provide evidence-based, compassionate care to critically ill patients across various ICU specialties including medical, surgical, trauma, neuro, and cardiovascular units. Manage advanced life-support equipment such as ventilators and hemodynamic monitors while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team.
Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or current enrollment, a Washington, D.C. RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Candidates must have at least 2 years of full-time critical care experience.
Patient Care: Provide evidence-based, compassionate care to critically ill medical patients.
Manage ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring systems, and continuous infusions; respond to rapid patient changes.
Support patients and families through critical illness with empathy and education.
Ensure precise and timely charting of patient care.
