MSK: We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with RNFA) to join the Multi Surgical Specialty Team.
Role
Overview: In this role, you will serve as first and second assist for open, robotic, and laparoscopic procedures across the Urology, Gynecologic Oncology, Head and Neck, and Gastric Mixed Tumor Surgery services, with expectations of training in and supporting additional subspecialties as operational needs dictate. As an APP at MSK, you will be a valued member of a multidisciplinary team working collaboratively to deliver high quality, evidenced-based, comprehensive cancer care to a variety of surgical patients, participate in research and quality improvement initiatives, and strive to support the mission and standards of the institution.
Key
Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited PA program
NCCPA certification
Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
Minimum of 2 years of related surgical experience required
Robotic experience preferred
BLS and ACLS certification
OR-
Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP license/registrations
RNFA Certification
Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
Related National NP certification
