Responsibilities

• Deliver direct, coordinated oncology nursing care for an assigned patient group using the nursing process and established standards of care
• Monitor patient status, assess changes, and administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans; document outcomes and response to therapy
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, pharmacists, social work) to coordinate comprehensive patient care and discharge planning
• Supervise and direct the activities of nursing staff on the shift; uphold patient safety, accuracy of charting, and infection control practices

Requirements

• Active California RN license
• BLS certification
• Oncology nursing experience preferred (1 year)
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in an inpatient setting
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
