Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the emergency care environment in alignment with established nursing standards and the nursing process.
• Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and monitor patient responses to treatment.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure timely and effective patient care, including handoffs and continuity of care.
• Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at various levels, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain clear, up-to-date medical records; uphold patient safety and privacy standards.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in California
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required
• ER nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in a travel assignment
• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher (BSN preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
