Requires a Texas State Board license for Speech-Language Pathology and BLS certification. Minimum education varies from high school diploma with experience to an associate's degree, with a preference for 3 years of outpatient pediatric experience.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Complete individualized patient evaluations and participate in developing and implementing individual care plans through collaboration with physicians and patient care teams, including patient and family. Provide, document and direct skilled and purposeful therapeutic care to progress the patient through their plan of care. Instruct and educate patient/family/caregivers in the use of therapy and compensatory rehabilitation in relation to their diagnosis. Prioritize caseload, determine patient care needs and coordinate with therapy and medical staff for appropriate assignments/handoff.
