Job description

Our Medical Assistant plays a vital role in supporting both front and back office operations within the clinic. This individual delivers safe, compassionate, and professional patient care under the direction of a provider and/or nurse, while working within their scope of practice. The Medical Assistant ensures a smooth patient experience by maintaining clinical excellence and supporting administrative functions.\n\nSchedule: Monday through Friday\n\nWhat You'll Do:\n\n- Room patients and assist provider as needed\n\n- Prepare treatment rooms for patient exams and procedures, always keeping room neat and clean\n\n- Daily, weekly, and monthly exam room cleaning, inventorying, and equipment checks\n\n- Assist with scanning paperwork and uploading pictures into the EMR, scribing for provider\n\n- Record new patients’ medical history, medications, allergies, and pertinent information in the EMR\n\n- Reinforce doctors’ instructions regarding procedures and results\n\nSkills and Experience:\n\n- Certified as a Medical Assistant is preferred\n\n- Scribe and/or Dermatology experience preferred \n\nIn support of our mission statement, "Healthier Practices, Healthier Patients", we have adopted a tobacco-free environment and we do NOT hire tobacco and nicotine users, including the use of e-cigarettes/vaping.\n\n\nMonday through Friday
