As a Behavioral Health Therapist, you will assist employees in accessing appropriate behavioral health services and treatment resources while providing support throughout the referral process.
In this role, you will consult with managers on employee behavioral health concerns and deliver training and education to promote workplace well-being, effective communication, and a supportive work environment.
A caregiver in this role works a remote day/evening rotation from 7:00 a.m. -- 8:00 p.m., with one day each week spent onsite at the Lakewood FHC facility.
To be considered for this position, candidates must reside in Ohio.
A caregiver who excels in this role will: Assist employees in receiving treatment.
Consult and provide training to management.
Provide assessment and ongoing services to employees and their families.
Systematically and continually assess patient physical and mental condition in collaboration with the patient/family and primary care physician.
Provide counseling services and training sessions for management on EAP services.
Participate in implementing program promotions and awareness activities.
Assess, collaborate and coordinate patient discharge planning needs and readiness for discharge with other members of the care team.
Participate in regular in-service training opportunities and professional EAP organizations.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Master's degree in Professional Counseling or Social Work Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) Three years of healthcare experience in a behavioral health setting Working knowledge of computerized healthcare documentation system and computerized appointment scheduling system Superior communication and interpersonal skills Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Training in short-term therapy techniques Knowledge of chemical dependency and substance abuse Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a personal computer and other office equipment.
Must be able to sit for one hour or more.
Must be able to work under stressful conditions.
Personal Protective Equipment: Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
