Provide competent direct patient care and primary coverage for programs within the Strong Minds Clinic. Responsibilities include managing refill requests, prior authorizations, health screens, and administering long-acting injectable medications.
Requires a Registered Nurse (RN) license with a preference for experience in psychiatric care or outpatient settings. Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or Spanish is highly preferred to serve diverse patient populations.
General Purpose: Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities. FT, 40 hours, 8-4:30 (M-F) The Registered Nurse (RN) in this specialized role will provide primary coverage for the programs within the Strong Minds Clinic and virtual support for other programs as assigned. Key responsibilities include processing refill requests, managing prior authorizations, conducting health screens, providing in-basket coverage, administering long-acting injectable medications, performing telephone triage, and other related duties. This position is ideal for a compassionate, team-oriented professional with strong assessment and communication skills. Experience in psychiatric care or outpatient settings is highly preferred. Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or Spanish is preferred, as Strong Minds is home to the Deaf Wellness and Lazos Fuertes clinics, which serve diverse patient populations.
