Assist internal medicine specialists with consultations, diagnostics, and the management of hospitalized patients. Provide high-quality nursing care and educate clients on treatment plans and follow-up guidance.
Must be a licensed Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT/LVT/CVT) with strong technical skills. Experience in internal medicine or emergency care is strongly preferred.

Patient Care & Internal Medicine Case Management Assist the Internal Medicine specialist with appointments, consultations, diagnostics, and hospitalized case management Monitor hospitalized patients closely and communicate changes promptly to the medical team Provide high-quality nursing care, including medication administration, fluid therapy, nutritional support, and treatment monitoring Support patient care through all stages of diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up Technical Skills Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, sample collection, and laboratory testing Assist with advanced diagnostics, including bloodwork, urinalysis, endoscopy preparation, ultrasound support, and imaging procedures Administer medications, CRIs, sedation, and anesthesia support for diagnostic procedures when applicable Maintain accurate medical records and ensure treatment plans are carried out efficiently Client Communication Educate clients on diagnostic recommendations, treatment plans, medications, and ongoing case management Provide clear discharge instructions and follow-up guidance Support clients through complex medical cases with professionalism, empathy, and effective communication Team Collaboration Work closely with Internal Medicine specialists, ER, ICU, Surgery, Radiology, Cardiology, Oncology, and other specialty services to coordinate patient care Assist in maintaining efficient patient flow and case management throughout the hospital Participate in cross-training opportunities within ER/ICU to strengthen emergency and critical care skills Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented hospital culture Why Cerro Alto

This is a full-time position primarily scheduled during daytime hours. Full-time team members typically work 10-hour shifts, 3–4 days per week. As a 24/7 specialty and emergency hospital, flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed is required.
