Provide structure and supervision to justice-involved women re-entering the community using a strengths-based and client-centered approach. Collaborate with Community Justice program staff to rehabilitate, educate, and guide clients toward successful community reintegration.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least two years of relevant experience as a Residential Aide or equivalent. A valid driver's license and the ability to maintain professional boundaries are mandatory.
This Residential Aide- will utilize a strengths-based & client-centered approach, providing structure and supervision to justice involved women as they re-enter the community after a period of incarceration. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals in recovery and/or those who are justice involved or have a client/customer support background and be highly motivated to help others make positive change. An ability to be both structured and compassionate while maintaining professional and respectful boundaries is required. Working within Adult Services, the Residential Aide within the Women's Bridge program works with Community Justice program staff to help to rehabilitate, educate, and successfully guide clients from incarceration back into the community.
High School Diploma / GED 2+ years relevant experience as a Residential Aide or equivalent Valid Driver’s License Regular and predictable attendance is required Orientation: If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
