The Radiology Technologist performs general radiographic imaging procedures for adult and pediatric patients to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, conducting independent imaging exams, and supporting orthopedic OR imaging.
Candidates must have an associate or trade school degree and a valid IEMA Radiology Technologist registration. CPR certification and less than two years of experience are preferred.

Role Purpose The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging radiographic procedures to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders
Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Informs patient on instructions and what the procedure entails with a high level of customer service and professionalism. Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently, in on-call situations (if applicable), portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department.
