The RN provides high-quality, patient-centered infusion care by utilizing the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, and implementation of care plans. They are responsible for maintaining therapeutic relationships with patients and families while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes.
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Connecticut with a degree from an accredited school of nursing and BCLS certification. IV skills are required, and previous infusion or critical care experience is preferred.

1. STANDARDS OF PRACTICERN practice is guided by the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice (2015). The Standards of Practice describe a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by utilizing the nursing process components of assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation and evaluation.
IV skills required. Previous Infusion experience preferred. 2 years critical care/in hospital experience preferred. Able to cover and weekends as needed.
