Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an Associate or Bachelor degree and hold a current Nebraska RN license. BLS certification is required, with ACLS and TNCC required for specific roles like ER or Charge nurses.
Description Memorial Community Health, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Hospital Nursing team. This full-time day shift position provides direct patient care in a collaborative healthcare environment focused on delivering exceptional service and quality outcomes. This position requires on call responsibilities along with rotating weekends/holidays.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Current RN licensure and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team are required. Utilizes the nursing process, for the performance of patient care, to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care to achieve prioritized patient outcomes according to the RN scope of practice. Collaborates with health care providers to coordinate medical and nursing management of patient care. Provides patient care supervision. Performs emergency treatment as required in accordance within the RN scope of practice. Performs and maintains documentation. Promotes and ensures patient and staff safety in all aspects of responsibilities. Participates in MCHI committees, quality assurance, performance and quality improvement initiatives, and activities which support the facility and department operations Presents self in a professional manner and enhances professional growth and development through participation in education programs, current literature, in-service meetings and workshops. Follows HIPAA regulations and ensures that the confidentiality of patients’ medical, personal, financial records, employee records, and organizational records is maintained. Complies, understands, and enforces state and federal regulatory requirements related to the performance of Memorial Community Health operations and requirements, including but not limited to HIPAA, the Code of Conduct, the Compliance Policy, Safety and Infection Control, all department and organization-wide policies, Critical Access Hospital requirements, and Federal and State of Nebraska regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.
Graduate of an accredited school/college of nursing Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in Nursing Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nebraska Basic Life Support (BLS) required ER, Recovery Room, Charge nurses: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required ER and Charge Nurses: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required
