Provide acute and primary health care in accordance with approved nursing and medical policies. Manage clinical programs throughout the hospital continuum to ensure outstanding patient care.
Must be a licensed registered nurse and certified under section 6910 of the New York State Education Law. Requires a Master's degree or a post-Masters NP certificate and previous progressive clinical experience.
A Nurse Practitioner is certified under section 6910 of the New York State Education Law and licensed as a registered nurse. A nurse practitioner in a specialty provides acute/primary health care in accordance with written policies approved by nursing and medical administration and manage a clinical program throughout the hospital continuum.
