The Occupational Therapist is responsible for conducting comprehensive evaluations and implementing personalized treatment plans to restore client independence. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to oversee therapy services and educate families on safety and daily living skills.
Candidates must hold a degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist program and current licensure in the state of Michigan. CPR certification and strong interpersonal communication skills are also required.
Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans developed by the licensed Occupational Therapist. Conduct occupational exercises and activities with clients, focusing on improving independence, finctional abilities, and quality. Assess and document clients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers, providing support and answering questions. Adhere to all relevant legal, ethical, and professional standards. Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist program. Current licensure as a Occupational Therapist in the state of Michigan. CPR certification. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
