Perform Urodynamics and Video Urodynamics diagnostic evaluations and provide comprehensive interpretative reports. Coordinate patient care, education, and equipment maintenance while collaborating with a multidisciplinary medical team.
Requires certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent education in a nursing-related field. Must possess knowledge of lower urinary tract anatomy and the ability to manage a daily load of 6-8 patients.

We are in search for a professional and experienced Medical Assistant who will perform Urodynamics and Video Urodynamics diagnostic evaluations, tests, pre and post evaluation follow-up, review of patient record and history pre and post procedure.
Performance of patient/care giver education regarding testing, telephone triage, patient education toward the management of dysfunctional elimination issues, urinary tract infections and diagnostic tests Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team on a daily basis including nurses, physicians and medical assistants Acts as liaison for medical equipment companies supplying UD supplies and testing equipment. Knowledgeable about all equipment utilized in UD testing including the use of X-ray and video equipment. Communicates directly with company for troubleshooting Provides comprehensive UD testing and an interpretative UD report for each patient. Collaborates with MD regarding UDS results Works collaboratively with support staff for scheduling and coordination of UD testing at main location and any satellite offices Assists in room maintenance, equipment upkeep as necessary to assure prompt patient flow. Participates in requests for supplies and equipment Use time efficiently, works in conjunction with other staff members in positive and productive manner. Uses "down time" to get ahead on assigned tasks or implements new projects for continued growth and development of department. Emphasizes team approach- readily assists other staff members Accurately record hours worked per day utilizing computer system. Requests for time off made in writing with adequate time to request back up or to change work templates
Certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent Successful completion of secondary education in medical assisting or other nursing related field of study Has knowledge of lower urinary tract anatomy and functions Able to manage a patient load of 6-8 patients per day, based on type of testing done, in a timely and efficient manner while focusing on quality patient care in a professional manner.
