Consumer Recovery Specialist

• The Children's Recovery Center is seeking an experienced and passionate Consumer Recovery Specialist to join our dedicated team in the Norman area.
• This position will be responsible for conducting groups with consumers on various recovery topics and documenting the group accurately.
• Will routinely conduct peer reviews regarding the quality of group notes and be a consistent and positive role model for the consumers entrusted to our care.
• Job Type/Salary: Full-time position Consumer Recovery Specialist Salary is $35,547.20 ($17.09/hr.) plus shift differentials and benefits!
• 8 hour evening shifts (2:30pm-11pm) Must be 21 years of age or older, due to DHS requirements.
• FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Additional Compensation: Along with our great benefits we also offer additional compensation for working outside of normal business hours!
• These shift differentials are stacked on top of your base pay when working evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays.
• Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Consumer Recovery Specialist - Associate degree OR an equivalent combination of education and experience substituting two years of relevant experience for the required education.
• Special Requirements: Upon a condition offer of employment, Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 65 pounds and being able to push and pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.
