Medical Assistant II – PCI (Pediatric Cardiology) Riley Location: 1002 Wishard Blvd, Indianapolis, IN, Suite 2001 Scheduled Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM Work Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week; set day off determined by the clinic manager (currently, Mondays and Fridays are not scheduled as days off)

Under the supervision of the designated supervisor and assigned physician, you will perform clinical and administrative duties to deliver exceptional patient care. Provide direct patient care and clinical support in accordance with organizational standards. Complete ordered procedures and treatments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Support smooth patient flow and coordinate care activities. Perform general laboratory work and support clinical documentation. Inform and instruct patients regarding procedures, treatments, and needs. Perform registration, scheduling, and maintain EMR files. Support front office functions such as patient check-in and check-out as needed. May perform computerized physician order entry when directed by the physician. Precept current MA team members or externs as requested by leadership.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a current certification in Medical Assisting (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, or CMAC). Additionally, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, ADA, and medical coding standards are required.
