The COTA is responsible for implementing treatment plans to improve patients' functionality, safety, and activities of daily living. They must monitor patient progress, perform interventions, and instruct families and caregivers on therapy participation.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited COTA program and hold a valid California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license. Ability to work with all age groups is required, and bilingual skills are preferred.
