The Monitor Technician is responsible for the continuous surveillance and documentation of patient cardiac rhythms via telemetry monitors. They must identify arrhythmias and promptly notify the healthcare team to ensure patient safety.
Candidates must have 0-2 years of clinical or clerical experience in a medical setting and a BCLS certification. Completion of a telemetry or EKG interpretation course is required during the orientation period.
