Provide peer support, mentoring, and advocacy for individuals recovering from substance use disorders to prevent relapse and promote long-term recovery. Facilitate the transition to self-directed recovery plans and link clients to essential community resources.
Requires a High School diploma or GED and certification as a Kentucky Certified Peer Support Specialist. Preferred candidates have at least two years of sustained recovery and a minimum of one year of sobriety.
