• – Medical Assistant The Medical Assistant plays a vital role as part of the care team, supporting patient flow and ensuring efficient clinical operations. This position is responsible for coordinating patient care activities, assisting providers during exams and procedures, and delivering high-quality patient support. Key Responsibilities: Room patients, obtain vital signs, and collect brief medical histories Accurately document patient information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system Prepare exam rooms and assist providers with clinical procedures as needed Ensure patient records are up to date for provider review Carry out provider-directed tasks following patient visits Support patient flow to maintain an organized and efficient clinic environment Provide education to patients on managing chronic conditions, including diabetes and asthma, under provider guidance Work closely with patients to encourage self-management and adherence to care plans Required Skills: Patient care and clinical support Appointment scheduling Strong EHR documentation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Additional Qualifications: Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment Flexibility to support multiple areas or departments as needed Team-oriented mindset with a strong attention to detail Experience Level: Intermediate Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
