The role is responsible for cleaning and maintaining surgical areas and transporting patients of all ages. Additionally, the attendant manages supplies, handles specimens and medications, and performs errands between departments.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. No previous experience is necessary, although prior exposure to a healthcare environment is preferred.
Cleans and maintains designated surgical areas. Transports patients of all ages, infants through adults, and assist with patient preparations and positioning. Orders and stocks supplies. Handles specimens and medications as needed. Runs needed errands between interdisciplinary departments.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Previous exposure to healthcare environment.
No previous experience. Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date.
