Provide intensive community treatment services to youth and foster families experiencing acute distress. Coordinate services and interventions to stabilize individuals and help them participate optimally in the community.
Requires a master's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling and a valid Virginia state license. Preference is given to candidates with at least one year of clinical experience with mental illness or developmental disabilities.
The Clinician for Fostering Attachment and Meaning, Integrating Lives with Youth (FAMILY) provides direct intensive community treatment services for youth and foster families in the New River Valley area. These individuals are experiencing acute distress due to placement within the foster care system and require additional support in acclimating to the new circumstances. Coordinates appropriate services and interventions to stabilize the individual in the least restrictive manner. Works as part of a team to ensure services and resources are coordinated among providers as needed to help individuals served live and participate optimally in the community.

Starting Salary: $56,700/$63,000 (license eligible/licensed)
Additional compensation will be considered for any new employees who speak multiple languages.
