Conduct evaluations, treatment planning, and provide individual and group psychotherapy for target populations. Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to facilitate integrative care and manage member outreach.
Requires a Master's degree in Social Work and eligibility for state licensure in Maryland, Virginia, and DC. Must have completed a clinical practicum/internship and be proficient in DSM-V TR diagnostic principles.
Under Supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker conduct evaluation, treatment planning, referral, care management, individual follow-up, and group therapy with target populations; Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff as well as outside agencies.
Completes mental status and psychosocial assessment of members. Provides individual and group psychotherapy and classes, in person and through telemedicine, implementing goal specific and measurable treatment plans. Evaluates, counsels and refers members to more appropriate mental health provider(s) or to community resources when indicated. Provides urgent care and crisis intervention as indicated. Provides more specialized treatment modalities when qualified by special training. Conducts case management and member outreach as assigned. Communicates with Behavioral Health colleagues, Primary Care providers, and other Kaiser Permanente providers and agencies as needed to facilitate integrative care. Prepares and submits reports on mental health activities as requested Participates in staff development meetings, individual supervision and group supervision. Participate in quality of care activities on a regular basis. Manages panel and practice management within departmental guidelines. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Experience providing individual and group therapy during graduate degree preferred. Experience providing crisis intervention and/or risk assessments during graduate degree preferred. Experience providing CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) preferred. Experience providing DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) preferred. Experience working with Eating Disorder, OCD, and/ or Borderline Personality Disorder Populations preferred. Experience in EBP's and/or proficiency in Spanish, ASL or other languages strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates with 0-1500 hrs. towards LCSW-C preferred Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) Preferred
