The CMA supports clinical and administrative functions in a fast-paced infusion clinic, including taking patient histories and assisting providers during procedures. They are also responsible for administering medications, processing lab specimens, and managing patient records and scheduling.
Candidates must hold an active Medical Assistant Certification/Registry and a High School Diploma or GED. BLS certification is required either at the time of hire or within 30 days.

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our Satellite Infusion Clinic team. In this role, you’ll support both clinical and administrative functions in a patient-centered, fast-paced environment, helping ensure a seamless experience for patients receiving infusion services. This is a great opportunity to work a consistent weekday schedule while being part of a collaborative team dedicated to high-quality care and service excellence. Key Responsibilities Take patient histories and vital signs Prepare patients for exams and treatments Assist providers during procedures and infusion-related care Administer medications as directed Collect and process lab specimens Provide patient education and support treatment plans Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up care Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record Support front office workflows, including patient check-in and communication
