Position Summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our Satellite Infusion Clinic team. In this role, you’ll support both clinical and administrative functions in a patient-centered, fast-paced environment, helping ensure a seamless experience for patients receiving infusion services. This is a great opportunity to work a consistent weekday schedule while being part of a collaborative team dedicated to high-quality care and service excellence. Key Responsibilities Take patient histories and vital signs Prepare patients for exams and treatments Assist providers during procedures and infusion-related care Administer medications as directed Collect and process lab specimens Provide patient education and support treatment plans Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up care Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record Support front office workflows, including patient check-in and communication

Minimum Qualifications

Active Medical Assistant Certification/Registry (required) BLS certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire) High School Diploma or GED What Sets You Apart Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in medical terminology and clinical procedures Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinic High attention to detail and accuracy Experience with EHR systems A patient-first mindset with empathy and professionalism Work Environment & Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, and assisting patients Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally Fast-paced clinical setting with direct patient interaction Why NGHS?
