Provide comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care for oncology patients, including the administration of chemotherapy and other therapeutic treatments. Coordinate patient care plans and educate patients on disease processes and treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
Requires a nursing degree from an accredited program and a valid Registered Nurse license. BLS is required, and Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification is mandatory upon eligibility.

Full Time - days - 40 hours per week - Corning Hospital Cancer Center.
The Oncology nurse provides professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients and is responsible for delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, and evidence-based quality care. Practicing in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the state of employment, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics, and the ANA scope and standards of practice.
A minimum of two years of practice as a registered nurse in an acute care setting is preferred but not required.
Graduate of an Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredited nursing program. A Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred but not required. Additional nursing CEU’s are required for cancer centers with Accreditations.

The pay range for this position is $37.50 - 53.05 per hour.
