The Imaging Information Assistant Lead functions in a lead role, serving as a resource for the Imaging Information Specialists and assisting the team leader. They perform various duties related to communication of non-routine findings and assist Radiologists with various tasks.
The position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, with an associate degree in a related field preferred. Less than one year of experience in a healthcare setting is required, along with medical terminology training within 180 days.
Full Time (80 hours/pay period)
Days: 6:45a-3:15p with rotating weekends and holidays
Functions in a lead role, serving as a resource for the Imaging Information Specialists as well as assisting the team leader as necessary. performs various duties related to the communication of non-routine findings, telephone management, processing non-legal and legal requests from WellSpan Release of Information (ROI) department, and assists Radiologists with various duties.
