Performs pre-analytic processing, accessioning, and distribution of specimens. Collects blood samples via venipuncture and capillary puncture and instructs patients on urine sample collection.
Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent. One year of experience or graduation from a phlebotomy program is preferred.
Job Details Kettering Health Hamilton | Hamilton | Full Time | 2nd shift Responsibilities & Requirements Job Responsibilities Performs pre-analytic processing of specimens; collects specimens; accessions, labels and distributes specimens including blood samples by venipuncture and capillary puncture in all patient areas Instructs patients in the collection of urine samples and tolerance test in all patient areas. Other duties assigned Job Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old and/or high school graduation or the equivalent.
