The Orthopedic Technician applies treatment technologies to patients and assists physicians and nurses in orthopedic care. They serve as a facility resource for applied technologies and instruct patients and staff on their use.
Requires a high school diploma with anatomy and physiology coursework or equivalent experience, and CPR certification. Candidates must have at least two years of direct patient care experience, preferably in orthopedic treatment.
