Provide crisis intervention and outreach services for adults and children experiencing psychiatric emergencies. Coordinate care with clinicians and medical providers while documenting patient status and billing information in EHR.
Requires a high school diploma and either a bachelor's degree in a related field or at least three years of mental health experience. Must possess a valid driver's license and be eligible for Ohio Medicaid qualification as a mental health specialist.
We are currently seeking a Full-time Mental Health Technician in our emergency services department. Emergency Services is a 24/7 comprehensive program that assesses Lucas County adults, children, and adolescents who are experiencing a psychiatric or behavioral crisis. Patients are assessed onsite or in the field to determine treatment options; hospitalization or referral to community-based services.

Hours: Five, 8-hour shifts per week, 12:00am-8:00am; rotating weekends and holidays
Must be eligible to be a qualified mental health specialist by Ohio Medicaid. High School Diploma Bachelor's degree in a related field OR at least three years' work experience in mental health Least three years' work experience in mental health Must possess a valid driver’s license Must be eligible to drive company vehicles and be eligible for coverage as defined by the agency commercial insurance carrier.
