The Hospitalist is responsible for daily patient rounding, providing inpatient consults, and responding to code blues and rapid response teams. Additionally, the role involves assisting the ER during high-flow episodes as primary duties allow.
Candidates must hold an MD, DO, or equivalent degree and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine. Eligibility for a Minnesota medical license is required.
The Hospital Medicine Division at Mayo Clinic Health System in Red Wing, Minnesota is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join their team.
The MCHS-Red Wing hospital is a 50 bed hospital, comprised of 4 ICU beds, 4 OR rooms, and 12 ED exam rooms.
80 provider multi-specialty practice covering a service area of 50,000. Practice consists of sites located in Red Wing, Lake City, and Austin, MN.
Schedule comprised of 7 12-hour shifts shifts on & 7 shifts off.
Daily rounding on patients, provide inpatient consults as requested; Respond to code blues and rapid response team; Assist ER during high flow episodes as allowed by primary duties.
