The Activities Aide is responsible for executing a daily calendar of engaging activities such as games, crafts, and themed events for residents. The goal is to promote connection, enjoyment, and overall well-being for individuals with varying physical and cognitive abilities.
Candidates should possess a creative, enthusiastic personality and a passion for helping residents. Availability for a 9:30 am - 5:00 pm schedule and every-other weekend is required.
Our Activity Assistants bring energy, creativity, and positivity to each day. In this role, you will help carry out a daily calendar of activities tailored to residents with a range of physical and cognitive abilities. These activities may include games, entertainment, themed events, crafts, discussion groups, and many other enriching experiences designed to keep residents engaged and connected.
PartTime Hours Schedule: 9:30 am - 5:00 pm Every-other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday) Lorien Taneytown is nestled in Carroll County, MD and close to the border of southern PA. We are a Nursing Home and Assisted Living community that offers skilled nursing and rehabilitation services, in and outpatient therapy. We are home to our very own restaurant, Flicks Pub which is a favorite to our residents and the local community.
