Requires a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing and a valid RN license with 2-5 years of experience. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing and experience in oncology or care coordination are preferred.
Inpatient Nurse Coordinator within the Hematologic Malignancy Program (formerly BMT). The position will support 10800 which is one of the HMP floors dedicated to Lymphoma and Multiple Myeloma patients who are admitted for new diagnosis work-up, transplant or cellular therapy, planned chemotherapy regimens or complications from transplant, CAR-t or chemo. Onsite Work at Barens Jewish Hospital BSN Candidate is ideal Care coordination and/or oncology experience preferred.
Role Purpose Coordinates the health care of select patient populations/designated service across the continuum of care. Responsible for coordination of patient contact, patient education, prepares patient/family for procedure/test in collaboration with the healthcare team.
