Performs selected procedures, which may include: taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations and blood pressure), setting-up and disinfecting of dialysis machines, collecting specimens, admission, transfer and discharge procedures.

Ensures that routine and priority tasks are completed within established departmental time frames.
Explains and educates the patient on process of examinations, tests and medical procedures they are performing in a clear and professional manner to alleviate fear and anxiety.
Mentors and fosters a constructive environment that helps students and new NAs build confidence in their skills, knowledge and abilities. CLERICAL
