The PCT assists patients with daily living activities, monitors vital signs, and performs technical medical procedures like ECGs and blood draws. They also provide administrative support and coordinate daily activities within their assigned hospital unit.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and a CNA or PCT certification, or be in their final semester of nursing school. BLS certification is required within 14 days of hire, and 5 years of acute or long-term care experience is preferred.
