The practitioner is responsible for assessing patients, defining diagnoses, and providing palliative care within a hospital setting. They must also manage patient and family education and maintain detailed clinical documentation in patient charts.
Candidates must be Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants with experience or a strong interest in palliative care. The role requires the ability to manage a specific patient load and participate in departmental training activities.
