Provide comprehensive endocrine care through consults and follow-up visits in both clinic and hospital settings. Responsibilities include diagnosing patients, implementing treatment plans, and managing patient communications via the portal.
Requires a Master's degree for NPs or graduation from an accredited PA program, along with current Florida licensure and certification. Active BLS certification and DEA registration are also required.
This APP role is supporting the Department of Endocrinology and all Endocrine subspecialties.
Consults and follow-up visits are seen. The role also supports the Endocrinology Service in MCF Hospital, seeing all types of Endocrine subspecialties. The APPs also assist the Department in responding to patient messages/requests through their patient portal.
Clinic hours are normally Mon-Fri, 8-5; whereas hospital is Mon-Sun 8-5 or 9-6 with call evenings, weekends, and holidays.
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant performs the following tasks in any authorized setting (clinics, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, nursing homes, or patient's home).
