Education Minimum Level of Education Required: High School completion / GED

• Licensure/Certification/Registration
• Current HealthCare Provider or Professional Rescuer BLS/Responder certification required prior to completion of orientation.

Experience Minimum Level of Experience Required

• No prior job-related work experience
• Preferred experience:
• Medical terminology
• Other experience requirements:
• Successful completion of one of the following: 1.Completion of previous STNA or CNA training or Patient Care Technician/Assistant training. 2.Direct patient care experience within the last five years: Performing fundamental skills of vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) & direct patient care activities ie. Bathing, turning/positioning, toileting 3.Currently enrolled in nursing school and completion of at least one clinical rotation. 4.EMT-Basic certification
