The SLP supervises and applies therapeutic techniques for patients with speech, language, hearing, and oral myofunctional disorders. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, establishing treatment goals, and providing therapy as ordered by physicians.
Candidates must hold a master's degree in Speech Pathology or its equivalent and be licensed in the state of practice. A Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SP) is required, though those eligible for a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) may apply.
