Sanctuary House is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and community-focused professional to join our IPS Supported Employment team. In this role, you will help adults living with severe and persistent mental illness achieve their employment goals through individualized support, employer engagement, and ongoing encouragement in real-world community settings.
This is not a desk job. Our Employment Specialists spend the majority of their time in the community helping individuals build confidence, connect with employers, and maintain meaningful employment aligned with their strengths, interests, and preferences.
The ideal candidate is someone who values recovery-oriented services, enjoys building relationships, works well independently, and believes people who experience mental health symptoms can succeed in competitive employment.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field and at least two years of experience working with adults with severe mental illness. A valid North Carolina driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
